About Us
Lapping Waters has been in the Crane family since 1921, with the original lake house burning to the ground in 1960. The house was rebuilt as a one-level ranch-style cottage. Generations have summered at Lapping Waters, making great memories. It is truly one of the best locations on Lake Winnipesaukee!
The property is surrounded on all sides by water and woods and thus gives you a rare sense of privacy. Yet, it is close enough to numerous attractions in Wolfeboro, Meredith, Portsmouth, and Conway so you can easily take advantage of many local activities, hiking, shopping and restaurants. There is much to do and/or see in the Lakes Region. Or, you can simply relax lake-side!
Crane siblings Nat, Bibby, Sarah, Anne, and Mary love Lapping Waters and think you'll love it too!
